At Wrightsock, sustainability isn’t just a buzzword – it’s woven into everything we do. We’re proud to be one of the first brands in our industry to make sustainability a foundational value. All Wrightsock products are crafted with sustainable and/or recycled textiles, which use less energy and resources than traditional materials. By swapping out "virgin" textiles for recycled ones, we’re shrinking our environmental footprint and working toward a greener future.

Instead of relying on new polyester, we partner with Repreve to use their high-performance recycled polyester, leading the charge in eco-friendly innovation.

Recycled Polyester: Powered by Repreve

Merino Wool: Sustainable Performance 

Merino wool is a powerhouse sustainable material in our mission for a cleaner, greener planet. While wool often gets overlooked in performance gear due to potential skin irritation, Wrightsock’s Double Layer System brings out its best qualities without the drawbacks.

Here’s how it works: The inner layer, made of soft polyester, sits against your skin, while the outer wool layer regulates temperature, wicks moisture, and delivers natural sustainability. It’s a win-win for comfort, performance, and the planet.

What Happened to the ECO Collection?

Wrightsock has carried an ECO collection since our launch of using recycled polyester in 2020 when we committed to an entire collection of Eco-friendly products. You may notice that Wrightsock no longer has a dedicated ECO collection, that's because our entire product line is now made from this sustainable ECO material. We may no longer call the ECO Run, ECO anymore but it still uses the same material and still uses the same process that helps reduce our carbon footprint, the name is just a bit different.
